The Goloritzè Spire
Having parked the car at Ololbizzi, not far from the beautiful little church of San Pietro in Golgo, the Cala Goloritzè trek begins
The path climbs up a scree slope to the top of the plateau, from where there is a wonderful view of the sea and the enormous pinnacle of Goloritzè.
From here begins the steep descent towards the baco, crossing an almost lunar landscape of white pebbles in the midst of which only the junipers manage to break the chromatic monotony and overbearingly find life.
Along the route 'cuili' (ancient shepherds' huts) carved into the rock and the impressive crossing of a natural rock arch. The Goloritzè spire is ever closer: a 120-metre-high limestone pinnacle, a passion for climbers from all over the world.
A steep wooden staircase leads to the enchanting beach where, when the season allows, you can regenerate yourself with a swim in the turquoise waters of the cove before tackling the challenging return on the outward path.
