Vie Ferrate Alghero: il Cabirol
Via Ferrata Cabirol
The Via Ferrata Cabirol is certainly one of the most exciting and compelling experiences that can be had near Alghero, an enchanting city located on the north-west coast of Sardinia.
This adventure route, which winds through the wild nature of the Capo Caccia promontory, offers a breathtaking spectacle, overlooking a majestic cliff overlooking the sea that is more than 200 meters high.
The surrounding panorama is simply extraordinary, with the view embracing the intense blue of the crystal clear waters of the sea and Foradada Island appearing to float in the distance.
Tackling the via ferrata is a unique and unforgettable experience, which allows you to combine the adrenaline of the challenge with the beauty of uncontaminated nature. Don't miss the opportunity to discover this hidden treasure of Sardinia.
The Via Ferrata is characterized by two ledges, one "low" and one "high", connected by an equipped vertical section.
The "low" ledge is simpler and is followed on the outward journey; the "high" ledge, more exposed and technical, includes short, slightly overhanging passages that lead to the last easy vertical that concludes the route.
